Meet Mary On-Site Owner

Ms. Mary is the On-Site Owner here at The Goddard School in Middle River! Ms. Mary completed her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and has her 90 hour Pre-School certification and 45 hour Infant/Toddler certification. She is also credentialed by MSDE at a level 6. She has over 10 years of experience working with young children in the Pre-School and childcare setting and enjoys working with children of all age groups! She has been a part of The Goddard School community since 2014! Ms. Mary loves working with children because she truly enjoys making a difference in their lives. She loves having the ability to teach children something new while having fun at the same time!

6 w - 12 m

Relationships are no. 1 for 1 and under. We foster trust and help your little ones investigate the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

Our teachers support your child as they continue to develop their independent selves.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

We practice expressive language to help your child in all areas of their development, especially the big emotions that come with the territory.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

We support all areas of continuous development, setting your child up for success in and out of the classroom.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

We help your child experiment with writing, drawing and painting with a purpose.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

Your child will be kindergarten ready without worksheets!

CHILD CARE SCHOLARSHIP

The Child Care Scholarship (CCS) program assists eligible Maryland families pay for high-quality childcare and early education programs. Child Care Scholarship Central 2, a centralized vendor, manages the program.

Child Care Aware is the nation's most respected hub of information for parents and child care providers. A program of Child Care Aware of America, Child Care Aware helps families learn more about the elements of quality child care and how to locate programs in their communities. Child Care Aware also provides child care providers with access to resources for their child care programs.

NAEYC ACCREDITED

National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredits early childhood programs according to health, safety and education standards. The standards are intended to provide a reliable and accountable accreditation system to encourage the field of early childhood education to strive for a new level of excellence.

MARYLAND ACCREDITATION

Maryland Accreditation is a voluntary process of program assessment that examines all aspects of quality in educational environments for young children including curriculum, interactions between teachers and children, health and safety, family engagement and professional preparation and development of faculty.

MARYLAND EXCELS

LEVEL 5

Maryland EXCELS is a voluntary Quality Rating and Improvement System that awards ratings (up to 5 stars) to family providers, center-based and public school child care programs, and school age before and after school programs that meet increasingly higher standards of quality in key areas.
