Hello! My name is Jen Owens and I am super excited to be the director here at The Goddard School in Hudson. I graduated from the University of Akron with my BA in Child Development and have over 25 years of experience working with young children. Facilitating children to reach their maximum potential in growth and development has always been my deepest passion in life. Ms. Courtney has her Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Psychology. She has been with Goddard since 2023. HI! My name is Miss Kathy and I have been with Goddard since December 2022. I have a Bachelor's degree in English/ Women's studies and a Master's degree in education. I have been working with infants to high school age in many different capacities for more than 30 years. I have been married to a teacher for 32 years. We have a daughter Kyla, who has already traveled the world at 29 and fluently speaks French, Spanish, and Wolof. Our son Ethan is entering his senior year in the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago studying Sound Design. It gives me great joy to be a special part of a child's daily life. Each day is filled with promise and wonder and renews my spirit.

Ms. Mercedes started at The Goddard School in March 2023. Ms. Jordan went to school for Hospitality, however she found a love for education and started at Goddard in 2022. She started as an Assistant and moved into the Lead Teacher position in the Preschool Room. Hello! My name is Darcie! I am a mom of two boys! I was a stay at home mom for 4 years. In my spare time, I love to cook & bake. I have a small business for baked goods for friends & family! I love getting coffee & shopping, going on walks, taking the boys to the zoo or indoor play places,& once a month, going to the local library. I started The Goddard Schools Feb 2024. I have a 1.5 year certification in cosmetology, 1.5 year experience in Healthcare & plan to go back to school! My favorite thing to do with children are gym/ outdoor play, Bubbles, arts & crafts & reading!

Hello! My name is Austin but everyone at school calls me by my last name Isaac. I am currently a senior at Kent state University pursuing my degree in early childhood education. I did a semester of student teaching at Goddard school and began working here as a resource teacher directly after. In my free time I love spending time with my wife Kaelynn. We like to watch Cleveland sports, go out to eat, and have game nights with our friends.

Hello! My name is Ashleigh, I have been working in childcare since 2019, and I’m currently working on my Child Development Associate (CDA). My favorite part about working with kids is getting to witness them develop all the skills they will need and also to watch their personalities grow! In my free time I like to go hiking with my dogs, and take pictures of nature while I’m hiking. I also like getting coffee with friends, Halloween, and going to farmers markets.

My name is Cierra and i’m currently a resource teacher at The Goddard School! I have previous experience working in this setting, as I came from another Goddard location. I am working towards my bachelors degree in Speech Pathology at Kent State University and plan on furthering my education through grad school. I’m on the Kent Sate Cheerleading team, so in my little free time I enjoy reading, coloring, or going on runs! I’ve always wanted to work with kids, finding it to be so rewarding!

Hi, I’m Ms. Madi, I recently graduated from Kent State back in December with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Throughout my 4.5 years of school I have worked with many different ages of children including Pre-K, Kindergarten, First grade, Fourth grade, and Fifth grade. On top of all of these experiences I also worked at a daycare back in 2020 where I taught in Preschool, Pre-K, and School aged children. During my breaks from school I have nannied and babysit children from ages Infant to 6 years old. I absolutely enjoy working with young children because overtime you see their growth and as their teacher you help them get their necessary skills to get them ready for their future endeavors. What I look forward to most is working with the children and their unique personalities, their families, and great coworkers. Hi, I’m Mariana! I moved to Cleveland six years ago and grew up speaking English, Spanish, and French, which has shaped my love for working with children from diverse backgrounds. I recently graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in Education Studies and a minor in Child Studies and Youth Development. I have years of experience working with children of all ages in teaching, counseling, special education, and childcare. My passion for education started in high school while volunteering at a daycare and a middle school for children with disabilities. Since then, I’ve worked in classrooms, summer camps, and mentoring programs, always focusing on helping kids feel supported and confident in their learning. I believe that every child has potential, and with the right guidance and encouragement, they can thrive.
